If you have ever heard scootering is just for guys, well then be prepared to get a newsflash. Even though the sport of free style scootering is mostly boys there is a female rider who has made a name for herself. That is Jessica Boland.
First off can we get your name, age and location?
Can we get your thoughts on being one of a few female riders in our industry?
They treat me really good, Marcel is a rad dude and would provide anything if I need it. He was my first sponsor, and got me to where I am today. I can't say thanks enough
I was so stoked but I didn't think I deserved to have a Sig wheel, designing it was fun but was a long process the thought of it being open to the world to get I had to have a hard think on what I wanted and what everyone would kind of like
Recently there was a video released about an eagle tour can you tell me about it?
It was a heaps chill video the boys shreded everypark we went to. Phil is an amazing filmer and the video was really a hit
Can you tell us your current set up?
district cromo bars, apex forks and compression, two of my signature wheels and a district head set and grip
Who are some people that really motivate you in this industry?
My sponsors have motivated me along with the boys I ride with e.g Brandon Loupos, shaun Callins, Wazzzzeh, david green, Chris Hart, Rory Coe and many more. Also the riders that I look up to Matty Ceravolo, Dylan Scholes and Max Peters.
Now in person who are the riders that you really push you to ride harder when you sesh with them?
I boys that push me harder and the boys I roll with, the have helped me so much.
Australia has a great variety of parks which would would you say is your favorite?
The parks I favorite are monster, Jamo, Engadine (local) and Umina
Are there any tricks that you would call your favorite?
Combos like whip inverts, bar inverts etc and of course flairs.
Any tricks right now that your are working on getting?
Nah not really don't really have a favourite trick.
What would you name as your favorite scooter experience and please describe it for us?
Going on eagle tour was amazing hanging with the boys getting to know them more, riding some amazing parks, kicking back and relaxing it was sick.

I am Jessica Boland, I'm 16 and I live in Sydney Nsw
It sucks, but in a way I show the boys that girls can do what they do as well. I hope that girls will get in to it considering I only know of a few girls. It would be so rad to ride with girls but than again the boys I ride with have showed me a lot and I have improved so much with riding with them. Considering I ride with some amazing rides like Brandon Loupos and David Green.
